Research Explores the Unknown and Unexpected
Shared Skies developed from a motivation to provide educational resources to students at our universities and their regional schools. Given realistic limitations on operational costs, we currently focuson supporting university-level undergraduate astronomy and physics class content, training graduate students in observationaly astrophyscis, and research contributing to the emerging field of exoplanet discovery and characterization. Our capability of rapid response with instrumentation in both northern and southern hemispheres and a wide longitude span enables cutting edge time-series astrophysics. Our current interests cover a diverse range of astronomy and astrophysics highlighted in these summaries and links to refereed publications.
