This exercise is based on images of the globular cluster M3 taken with the 0.6 meter Ritchie-Chretien telescope at Moore Observatory. Follow the links below for instructions, and access to the images and software. If you do not have a high speed connection at home, we can provide the images and software on a CD. Alternatively, the data and software are also available on the Physics and Astronomy computer system in Room 207. Please contact Prof. Kielkopf for help with these options.
